Washing instructions are provided on the tag of each item. Generally, instructions are as follows:
Clothing
Machine wash cold with like colors.
Line dry, or tumble dry low.
Shoes
Hand wash your UA shoes by following these steps:
Remove excess dirt and mud with a dry brush.
Use a mild detergent and warm water to remove any stains with a sponge or towel.
Do not use abrasive household cleaners such as 409 or Fantastic as they will cause synthetic leather to dry and crack. Do not submerge your shoes in water when cleaning.
Cleats
Daily Maintenance:
For optimal performance, it is important that cleats are free of dirt or mud. We recommend using an object such as a stick to remove excess mud between the studs after each use.
Washing & Cleaning:
We recommend using a mild detergent and warm water to remove any stains with a sponge or towel. Do not use abrasive household cleaners such as 409 or Fantastic as they will cause synthetic leather to dry and crack. Do not submerge the cleats in water when cleaning.
Drying:
Let the cleats dry naturally or with the use of a fan. Consider stuffing heavily soaked cleats with newspaper to ensure they maintain their shape and fit as they dry. Never dry cleats on a radiator or other artificial source of heat as it will cause shoes to stiffen and can cause leather or artificial materials to crack.
Bags
Hand wash your UA bags by following these steps:
Remove excess dirt and mud with a dry brush.
Use a mild detergent and warm water to remove any stains with a sponge or towel.
Air dry.
Gloves
Washing and Cleaning:
We recommend using a mild detergent and warm water to remove any stains with sponge or towel.
Drying:
Let the gloves hang dry overnight
Odor Removal:
We recommend turning the gloves inside out and soaking for 20-40 minutes in a solution made from 1/2 cup OxiClean® or baking soda dissolved in 2 liters of water. It's also safe to use a product such as deodorant to help remove odor from your gloves.
